POSITION SUMMARY:

· Assist in planning, managing, and executing all marketing, advertising, publicity, and promotional events for the assigned Brand(s) according to VG guidelines.

· Assist in defining customer centric marketing strategies, process and procedures for promotions and brand initiatives.

· Support the Brand’s Business Goals.

· Support CRM and increase existing base of VIP customers.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :

· Achieve Brand(s) sales and profitability for the assigned brands.

· Achieve targeted media coverage [KPI : Editorial coverage - num. of pages/follower reach & dollar value)

· Events and Promotions [KPI : execute events/promotions as per plan]

Principal liaison. (KPI: adhere to principal guidelines & reports submission deadlines)

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build & Implement Strategic Marketing Plans

· Assist the Brand annual business plan, A&P budget and monthly marketing calendar for optimum utilization of funds to increase ROI, and attain necessary approvals prior to execution.

· Assist to develop strategies for new customer recruitment and CRM plans for top of mind recall.

· Create and publish all marketing campaigns in line with marketing plans.

· Make periodical competitor store visits to better understand the business marketing needs.

· Build effective working relations with key stakeholders

· Asist the Marketing Manager to partner with 3rd party and Valiram Brand(s) to develop seasonal marketing and PR strategies.

Media Coverage

· Asist the Marketing Manager to plan and direct advertising, public relations, and promotional events and strategies for the Brand(s).

· Assist in Interpreting Brand(s) programs for the media and the public.

· Develop social media campaigns to build online brand awareness

Media and Landlord Relationships

· Asist in developing, and maintaining local, national, and international media relations.

· Maintain good relationships with mall management for tie up, mall advertising, event & real estate opportunities.

Execute Events and Promotions

· Assist in planning and implementing events calendar for positive brand building through promotional activities.

· Assist in conducting media and press events for seasonal launches.

· Execute multiple local press days & consumer events to drive brand equity.

· Coordinate ceremonies, press conferences, and other events or special projects.

Brand Reporting and Analysis

· Prepare monthly marketing reports for Country management analysis.

· Ensure timely submission of all marketing reports including post-event reports.

· Review and research marketing campaigns of competitor brands.

· Assist in tracking marketing performance, gather consumer insights, and evaluate program effectiveness.

· Assist in delivering post program and promotion analysis and key best practices to Management.

Others

· Perform other related functions as instructed or delegated by immediate supervisor or Management from time to time.

· Staff to conduct themselves in a proper and professional manner in compliance with the Code of Business Conduct.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or equivalent.

· Minimum 1 year of marketing experience in a comparable retail environment.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle stress, show resilience and adapt to changing market trends.

· Pleasant personality with positive attitude.

· Excellent communicator.

· Good Persuasion and negotiation skills.

· Proficient in computer skills.

· Fluent English, both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
